Making pathology labs more interesting, mixing digital slide material with engaging activities to keep students motivated

Rachelle is a Professional Teaching Fellow in Medical Science. She is passionate about teaching and learning and actively seeks ways to innovate and engage with students. For her fellowship Rachelle would like to focus on making pathology labs more interesting, mixing digital slide material with engaging activities to keep students motivated. She has recently discovered H5P (https://h5p.org) which has given her an exciting way to update her teaching and provide students with a more engaging blended learning experience. A variety of activities can be developed within H5P to replace existing written lab material; interactive multimedia with guest speakers, case study scenarios, interactive technical demonstrations, 360° virtual lab tours.
